Our client, an industry leader in logistics and warehousing, is seeking a 2nd shift Forklift Operator to join their team. As a 2nd shift Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient inventory management and safe material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** 2nd shift Forklift Operator
**Location:** Woodstock, AL
**Pay Range:** $17
**Shift:** Second Shift
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform safety checks on forklifts and ensure they are in proper working condition
+ Move, locate, and stack merchandise safely around the facility
+ Operate stretch-wrappers and change stretch film as needed
+ Ensure inventory is stored neatly and accurately in designated areas
+ Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain cleanliness of the work environment
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb on/off equipment as required
+ Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
+ Ability to work in various weather conditions including hot, cold, and dusty environments
+ Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
