Job Description Responsibilities: Coordinate with 1st shift management to review production goals, part counts, and any shift-to-shift issues. Supervise a team of 56 CNC operators and programmers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Truly be a shop manager day shift Oversee machine loading/unloading and basic maintenancemachines are largely self-sufficient, similar to automated systems. Monitor machine performance and make recommendations for maintenance or improvements. Ensure production targets and quality standards are met. Support team members with troubleshooting and problem-solving on the floor. Skills and Requirements Qualifications: 10+ years of CNC experience, including hands-on programming. Experience with an ERP system preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) other SAP systems is fine Strong understanding of various machine types and brands. Versions of automation, production shop vs.a custom shop. Bar feeders, pallet changers, robotics been exposed to that in their work environment - production based products. Exposure to 5-axis rotators is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. High level of intelligence, initiative, and work ethic. Interest in personal and professional growth through hands-on projects and learning. Self-motivated and eager to learn. Strong communicator and team leader.
