2nd Shift, Machining Tech II, Heading

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience as a machinist required Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Benefits/Salary:

The position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation. The salary range for this position is $22/hr to $24/hr

Good communication skills & knowledge of basic shop math                                               Able to read, write and understand basic instructions in English                           Ability to write routine reports and correspondence                                           Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly   Able to learn how to use measurement instruments                                                                                   Ability to follow directionAbility to complete first piece verification Maintain a good attitude and be willing to learnCommunicates effectively with other team members and Production Team LeaderBe familiar with Human Performance tasks Able to perform entry level set-ups                                             Understand the speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operationAble to speak effectively before groups of co-workers, customers, auditors, etc. Able to read and interpret blueprintsWorking knowledge in manufacturing and quality processes and principles Able to comply to all SPC daily Requirements (if applicable)Able to understand and maintain machine complements (when applicable)LOTO certifiedSets up and operates machines with minimal assistanceAble to operate all standard machines related to the process in their assigned processExposure to hot and cold single die headersAble to make own tooling related to headingExposure to 80 ton and 100 ton Aida pressesRun cut off saws independently
