Salary: $60 / Hour Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Palmer, MA who is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to assist them on a contractual basis. Details of the position include: Position: Special Education Teacher Description: Openings are available at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels. The district’s primary need is in sub-separate settings, though inclusion roles are also available. Candidates must hold an active MA DESE Special Education License in either Mild/Moderate or Severe categories. Caseloads are capped at 12 for sub-separate classrooms and 24 for inclusion settings. Responsibilities include instructional planning, student and support staff management, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, IEP development, progress reporting, and active participation in IEP meetings.
