Job Description

This role will be involved with IT projects and their ideation and analysis needs working closely with other Takeda employees who will provide instruction, direction, feedback, and guidance along the way.


How You Will Contribute:

As a Plasma Derived Therapies (PDT) Data Digital & Technology (DD&T) Innovation Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

Learn about many innovative technology solutions

Engage with business stakeholders and learn about the plasma therapy business

Organize and analyze new digital solution, application, website projects while partnering with Takeda colleagues

Build your digital and technology skillset in a group that is using AI and advanced technology tools

Partner with our business partners through technical analysis of business needs, developing and refining system requirements, and project planning to deliver value.
 

Internship Development Opportunities:

Learn how to adopt and adapt AI tools into daily work tasks and deliverables

Refine skills in interacting with business stakeholders – executive presence and presentation

Understand how innovation and prototyping work for digital solutions in pharmaceutical companies

Job Requirements:

This position will be Hybrid (1-3 days/week in office) out of the Bannockburn, IL or Cambridge, MA offices

Must be pursuing a [Bachelors or Masters] Degree in [IT, Technology, Data Science, AI/ML, Project Management]

Experience with Project Management techniques and methods

Understanding of multiple software development life cycle (SDLC) methods

Some ability to write code or to analyze project performance metrics with low-code tools

Mastery in written and verbal communication in English

Exposure or previous experience in working with teammates across multiple time zones/continents

Internship Eligibility  

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship  

Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later  

The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26th-August 14th or June 15th- August 21st)   

The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames   

Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates   

Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary 

We understand compensation may be an important factor as you consider an internship opportunity. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.  The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
