**Department Overview**
Raymond James Investment Management (“RJIM”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. Raymond James Investment Management’s Information Technology and Operations team is responsible for the seamless operation of our business.
**Job Summary**
The summer associate will focus on supporting all aspects of the Information Technology and Operations team. The ideal candidate is excited to work in a fast-paced, growing business with a wide range of projects. This role calls for someone interested in learning about technology and the financial service industry.
Under general supervision, the summer associate will focus on projects that support reporting, trading, data integration, and accounting applications.
The summer associate position is a temporary role.
**Start Date:** Monday, June 1, 2026
**End Date:** Friday, August 7, 2026
**Work Schedule:** Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Determined by business need, this position may help support reporting, trading, data integration, and accounting applications.
+ Potential to work on exciting projects, with opportunities to research, grow and learn about technology and the financial service industry.
+ Assist in the production of high-quality documentation and/or technical documentation.
+ Collect and analyze information from various sources for reporting, and analysis.
+ Collaborate with leadership to identify, define, and solve problems, supporting corporate initiatives.
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
**Knowledge of**
+ Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.
+ Basic principles of software development and object-oriented programming.
+ Core concepts in data structures and algorithms.
**Skill in**
+ Tableau, Excel, SQL, Access, possibly Python, Restful API’s, and/or basic web development.
**Ability to**
+ Ability to respond to common data inquiries from internal teammates.
+ Assist in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
+ Translate business requirements into basic technical solutions or prototypes.
+ Document code, processes, and findings clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
+ Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
+ Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
+ Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
+ Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
**Educational/** **Previous** **Experience Requirements**
+ Full-time student at an accredited college/university, graduating December 2026 or later, pursuing a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in information technology, business, finance, or related field.
+ Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
+ Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
