Job Description

Product Development, Science and Technology (PDS&T) is the intersection of technical excellence and business impact. We are champions of product innovation and process knowledge to solve AbbVie's most complex technical challenges to successfully support late-phase products, commercialize our pipeline, ensure the quality and efficacy of our products, make a direct impact on patient well-being.

During a summer in PDS&T, an intern would own a focused technical project to gain software development skills, helping design and implement a change to one of our products. The intern would be placed in the Allergan Aesthetics Body Contouring group.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Assisting with activities associated with the development and implementation of changes to commercial body contouring medical device productsHelping to consolidate, design, and recommend solutionsSupporting development of engineering and unit testsLearning standards and tools for software development engineers
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a bachelor's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering other related field of studyMust be returning to university the semester following internshipExpected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027

Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Excel or other database experience is a plusExposure to coding, data mining, and analysisFamiliar with Visual Studio and GitCross functional collaboration skillPublic presentation skills
