2026 Mechanical Engineering Intern
**Description** V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a 2026 Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team! **Responsibilities Include:** + Providing basic support developing and documenting mechanical designs, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies + Applying your engineering knowledge and participating as a member of a multi-discipline team + Contributing to the completion of project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads + Following established Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures **Security Clearance & Other Requirements:** This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted to US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements. **Required Skills:** + Positive attitude and proven leadership skills + Customer focus and ability to collaborate + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Basic fundamentals of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software + Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or related course work. **Desired Skills:** + Knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools + Previous Engineering project and/or internship experience + Ability to work in a team environment + A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying) **Education Requirements:** + Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursing a technical degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or Systems), Computer Science or a closely related STEM field + Must have obtained Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post graduate status as of Spring 2025.
