2026 Manufacturing – Kokomo Summer Internship

INTERNSHIP FORMAT

This internship will follow an in-person model. Interns will be based at one of the Stellantis manufacturing plants located in the Kokomo area. Relocation assistance may be available for candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. The internship program is scheduled to run from May through August 2026.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

Manufacturing intern assignments focus on Stellantis Production Way (SPW) processes, products and services in the following areas:

· Assembly Operations

· Engine and Transmission Manufacturing

· Manufacturing Planning and Control

· Manufacturing Engineering

· Stamping Operations

· Manufacturing Quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship Must be willing and able to work in a manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Working towards a Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related program at an accredited university (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or related field Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing processes Willing to work in a manufacturing environment Strong interest in manufacturing and manufacturing operations in the automotive industry Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by the spring of 2026 Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with MS Office Suite applications Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
