2026 Intern – IBM Corporate Social Responsibility
**Introduction** This role is for an internship in Summer 2026. The Internship is expected to start on Tuesday, May 26th with an end date of Friday, July 31st. A place where you can bring innovation to life. **Your role and responsibilities** As an IBM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Intern, you’ll work collaboratively, driving work that addresses a strategic business challenge. In addition to your project work, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. Between project work and intern programming, you'll get to touch a variety of areas within Marketing, Communications & CSR (MCC). At the end of program, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your final outcomes to a large audience of MCC Leaders and Practitioners across the organization. This is a highly visible intern program with leadership exposure and mentorship throughout the summer. This role is supporting our Corporate Social Responsibility team. Previous intern projects have included: * Evaluate IBM’s annual corporate sustainability performance assessment process * Developing strategic recommendations to enhance the IBM SkillsBuild platform for student users * Support key CSR efforts in the Americas geography, including volunteering, giving, workplace education, and global impact This role is based in New York City. We work in a hybrid environment. This position will be required to come into the office at least three days per week. We anticipate this role will close on or before January 30th. IBM will not be providing Visa sponsorship for these positions now or in the future. Therefore, to be considered for this position, you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future Visa sponsorship. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Currently enrolled in an accredited University * Available for an internship in Summer 2026 * Rising junior for the 2026-2027 school year with an anticipated graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 * Basic knowledge of corporate social responsibility, including corporate sustainability, corporate volunteerism, workforce education, or related fields * Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Basic knowledge of problem-solving and analytical skills * Basic market research skills * Prior experience in corporate giving or impact, corporate volunteerism, nonprofit work, or related fields IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
