Depending on your interests and background, you’ll be placed in one of the following focus areas:

Advertising Technology

Work on a scrum team and be given user stories to work onTackle data use cases with Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning; and utilize Looker (BI tool) to display results

Campaign Analytics

Engage in the post campaign report process including use of syndicated tools and report creationManage and update the internal post campaign report tracker and dashboardCreate a final mock tracker utilizing PowerQuery and write analysis of findingsCreate a mock post campaign report and present the findings

Who We’re Looking For

Students pursuing degrees in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer ScienceFamiliarity with tools like SQL, Python, Unix, AWS, Snowflake, APIs, and relational databasesInterest in TV, digital advertising, and media technologyStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in team settings

Program Details

Duration: 10-week hybrid internship (in office 2 days per week)Start Dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026, or June 15, 2026 – August 21, 2026Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the futureThis position can earn $25 - $34 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Hourly rate based on academic status)
