Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst / Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Iuka, MS.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization.

Roles and Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Essential Functions:

Prepare month-end reports

Develop and review EACs

Incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule baselines

Assist CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing of the tasks, developing and documenting earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reporting

Support monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as required

Set up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system

Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis

Prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled

Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government

Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

Conduct analysis on cost data and sets up meetings with management to review data

Provide support to Integrated Product Teams and Cost Management Managers

Prepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations

Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management

Maintain and update cost control systems (e.g. Costpoint, SAP and COBRA)

This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A01) or Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A02).

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A01):

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: 

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026.

Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).  Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Basic Qualifications for an Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A02):

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: 

Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2026 or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree and 2 years of program cost and schedule control analyst experience.

Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).  Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Preferred Qualifications

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher 

Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork, capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular). 

Pay Range 

Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst : $50,100 - $75,100

Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (A02): $60,500 - $90,700
