2 WELDING ENGINEERS
 
Location: Paris, France
Contract duration: 12 months (renewable)
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)
  
On behalf of our customers, we are currently recruiting for 2 Welding Engineers to be placed in Paris and would be on a 12 months’ contract with the possibility of extension.

POSITION 1:

Responsibilities 
The activity of this service will focus on supplier welding documentation review: Technical support to suppliers on welding issues Development of welding documentation for offshore and on-site structural and tubular manufacturing Coordination of welding qualifications on manufacturing site Technical support to manufacturing sites on welding issues Brazil mission (6 months) plus spot at the start and end of the mission in Paris, Saint-Quentin En Yvelines
Skills / Qualifications  Welding Engineer with IWE or IWT certification Knowledge of structural and tubular welding codes (type AWS D1.1, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, NORSOK M101, DNV RP F101, etc.) Manufacturing yard experiments BOSIET (OPITO certified) Able to travel to Brazil. No presence in Brazil over the last 12 months Medical Visit International Missions necessary.
POSITION 2:

Responsibilities
The activity of this service will focus on CLAD pipeline prefabrication monitoring: Coordination and monitoring of Welding Operational Mode Qualifications Development of welding procedures Preparation of on-site manufacturing (equipment, personnel, consumables, etc.) Technical support to manufacturing sites on welding issues Based in Paris - Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines with missions for a few weeks in Romania and/or Guyana
Skills / Qualifications Welding Engineer with IWE or IWT certification Knowledge of Oil & Gas pipeline welding codes (DNV ST F101, etc.) Manufacturing yard experiments BOSIET (OPITO certified) Able to travel to Guyana and Romania Medical Visit International Missions necessary
