1ST SHIFT WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

POSITION:   Warehouse Attendant 1st    DEPARTMENT:   Warehouse   LOCATION:   Worthington  SALARY CLASS:   Non-Exempt Salary     RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management.  Do cycle counts every month / spot check of inventory   Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers  Verify shipments against packaging slips  Keep work areas clean  Issue out parts and put away in coming parts   Other duties as needed  Issue / Reverse goods Receipts   To fill in for packaging manager time off and other employee time off.     Working Conditions:     Production and maintenance settings   Exposure to various chemicals and machinery.   Slippery floors, cold temperatures, Warm temps   Hours will be as plant schedule or may vary upon plant needs.     Relationships:  Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management       Special Skills:     Flexibility to schedule changes  Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English  Bilingual skills helpful  Excellent conflict resolution skills  Computer knowledge required  Good organizational skills  Ability to work 50+ hours  Good attendance and safety records     Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.   Production background with packaging preferred not required.  System skills–SAP  Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision  Good Attendance Record (Less than 3 points for internal candidates)  Resume  required          Education:    High School degree or equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience       REQUIRED: Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:   Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;   Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;   401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;   Base annual salary range: $21.00-$23.00Career Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs;   Minnesota Sick and Safe Time    Minnesota Paid Leave We will continue to recruit until the position has been filled.     The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
