POSITION: Warehouse Attendant 1st DEPARTMENT: Warehouse LOCATION: Worthington SALARY CLASS: Non-Exempt Salary RESPONSIBILITIES: The Warehouse Attendant position will be responsible for inventory management. Do cycle counts every month / spot check of inventory Be able to operate a powered industrial truck and small walking jack as needed to unload trailers Verify shipments against packaging slips Keep work areas clean Issue out parts and put away in coming parts Other duties as needed Issue / Reverse goods Receipts To fill in for packaging manager time off and other employee time off. Working Conditions: Production and maintenance settings Exposure to various chemicals and machinery. Slippery floors, cold temperatures, Warm temps Hours will be as plant schedule or may vary upon plant needs. Relationships: Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management Special Skills: Flexibility to schedule changes Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English Bilingual skills helpful Excellent conflict resolution skills Computer knowledge required Good organizational skills Ability to work 50+ hours Good attendance and safety records Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Production background with packaging preferred not required.
