This role involves efficiently handling incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The position is a 3-month contract-to-hire opportunity and offers a one-step interview process. **Responsibilities** + Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, inspect product condition, and document discrepancies. + Unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified). + Accurately log received materials into warehouse management systems. + Prepare outbound shipments by picking, staging, labeling, and loading orders. + Ensure all shipping documentation is completed correctly, including BOLs, packing slips, and labels. + Organize staging areas for both inbound and outbound freight. + Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status. + Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock replenishment. + Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience in a shipping/receiving/inventory role. + Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes. + Experience with packaging, packing, and inventory control. + Familiarity with FedEx shipping procedures. + Ability to use RF scanners and computer systems. + Experience with cycle counts and warehouse inventory management. + Knowledge of SAP or similar warehouse management systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certification for operating forklifts is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values growth and offers opportunities for advancement.
