1st Shift Repair and Overhaul Electronics Technician

An aerospace company is looking for a Repair and Overhaul Electronics Technician to test, evaluate, estimate, and perform the repair, modification, or overhaul of customer returned units to manufacturing specifications using maintenance manuals, test procedures, manufacturing outlines, blueprints, or schematics, per customer requirements and in compliance with all FAA regulations.
Job Description:
- Responsible for diagnostic testing, evaluating, troubleshooting, and estimating the time and parts that are required to complete the repair, modification, or overhaul.
- Responsible for selecting and requisitioning replacement parts as required.
- Responsible for reassembling units and replacing parts, including soldering, potting, and testing as required to complete the repair, modification, or overhaul.
- Accountable for the time, parts, and quality of work performed on the unit and the accurate recording of these on all applicable paperwork.
- Responsible to perform work within all related ISO 9001 work instructions and procedures.
- Responsible to continuously pursue process improvement and cooperatively participate in all team activities.
