1st shift Production Manager

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager at our Milton, PA facility, local producers of Chef Boyardee products and more, you will direct plant personnel and provide direction in operations to produce the best quality product possible, at the least cost standards. You will coordinate the availability of raw materials and ensure the functioning of production machinery is adequate to meet production demands. Develop and schedule necessary personnel to meet all production demands. Partner with HR for personnel issues, including interviews, hiring, evaluations, corrective counseling, and further training.

How Will You Improve Our Business?Be responsible for food safety and quality.Manage production line supervisors to ensure product is produced according to Company specifications, production, usage, and labor goals.Allocate labor to meet Company standards and ensure work force is trained in job requirements.Oversee the cleanliness of the plant production areas.Assure compliance of OSHA regulations and corporate policies.Ensure flow of critical information to all levels and shifts of plant management.Monitor correct ingredient usage at plant standards while maintaining quality goals.Coordinate production requirements with maintenance and engineering to ensure plant goals are obtained.Promote continuous improvement in production processes to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality. Share important metrics with supervisors on Continuous Improvements goals.Assure safety awareness and training is provided by supervisors and support all safety programs.Report ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
