Job Title: 1st Shift Production Worker – Urgently Hiring
Pay: $18/hr!
Hours: Monday-Friday 730am-430pm
Start Date: ASAP – Temp-to-Hire

We are seeking a 1st Shift Production Worker for a temp-to-hire position with our client, a food production company located in Bath, Maine. The Production Worker will be responsible for operating equipment, preparing ingredients, assembling and packaging products, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Success in this role means working efficiently as part of a team to consistently meet production goals while maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant environment.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Bath, Maine.
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for:
Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery

Operating production line equipment and assembling goods

Packaging finished products and ensuring proper labeling

Starting up and shutting down equipment safely and correctly

Inspecting goods to ensure conformance to specifications

Detecting and isolating foreign materials to protect food quality and safety

Following all work instructions (W.I.), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and sanitation procedures (SSOPs)

Executing instructions from supervisors to maintain workflow efficiency

Advocating and practicing proper safety measures at every step of production

Maintaining compliance with GMPs and HACCP guidelines

Reporting all food safety, quality, and security concerns to management
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Prior production, food handling, or manufacturing experience (preferred)

Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly

Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift

Strong attention to detail and safety practices

Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented mindset

Ability to pass a background check (no assault or sexual crime convictions)
