Duties/Responsibilities:All tools and equipment to be used in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendationsReads and interprets material and cut list informationEnsures quality parts and materials produced through machineryNavigates machinery interface effectivelyTroubleshoots machinery issues, identifies root cause, and retains corrective action knowledgeSupports all additional tasks directed by the production managerPerforms daily operator checklist of machineryExecutes lumber cutting, framing, nailing, and routing timely and in the sequence required by productionSorts and organizes scrap material generated from machineryEffectively communicates mechanical breaks, errors, and down time to production management and maintenance staffSafely and effectively operates computer-aided systemsLearns and understands necessary computer programs to perform job related tasksAdheres to PPE and safety requirements of the production facilityRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable safety regulations.Ability to read, count and writeEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least one year of related experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping and climbing.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.PulteGroup, Inc. and its affiliates do not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies (collectively, “Recruiters”) in response to job postings.
