We are seeking detail-oriented 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers to join our growing team on long-term contract or contract-to-hire assignments. In this role, you will assemble and test medical devices using a variety of tools and equipment under direct supervision. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work with small parts—often under a microscope—and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Both shifts require flexibility, including potential Saturday work and occasional early start times.
ResponsibilitiesFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Comply with all policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.Report issues with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.Maintain a clean, organized work area to support manufacturing functions.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMicroscope experience; ability to work under a microscope for up to 90% of the shift.Small part assembly experience.Strong communication skills.High School Diploma or Equivalent.Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience (microscope-based).Additional Skills & QualificationsMedical device assembly experience (preferred).Cleanroom experience (preferred).Experience with measuring tools, hand tools, and test equipment (2nd shift emphasis).Ability to work with small parts, including catheters.Work Environment100% cleanroom environment.Workstations are in close proximity to other team members.Use of microscopes, hand tools, and measuring equipment is required.Flexibility to work weekdays, overtime, and Saturdays as needed.Potential early start times (as early as 5:00am for 1st shift).Shift Details1st Shift: Early morning start times possible (as early as 5:00am).2nd Shift: 3:30pm or 3:45pm – 12:00am.All candidates must be open to weekday overtime and Saturday work when required.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
