**_1st and 2nd Shift Available_** **Job Description** Perform manual and mechanical duties to assist in the operations of a variety of equipment and tools in the fabrication and assembly of foam and/or plastic containers. Duties include operating tools and equipment, and reading simple prints, drawings, and specifications. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of simple fabrication and/or assembly operations. + Pick parts and supplies from inventory as instructed. + Assist in setting up and operating cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, drill presses, and hand tools. + Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed. + Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations as instructed. + Conduct required masking and painting. + Review product specifications on simple jobs and perform required tests, visual inspections, and dimension checks. + Detect any out-of-specification conditions and notify appropriate personnel or manager. **Essential Skills** + Experience with assembly, glue guns, and tape measures. + Basic math skills. + Ability to read simple prints, drawings, and specifications. + Knowledge of safety precautions and quality standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, including 2 hours of overtime daily and some Saturdays. **_$19/hr_** + _2nd Shift start at 2pm/2:30pm_ **_$20/hr_** **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company with expansion on the horizon, offering opportunities to transition to a permanent position. **Work Environment** Work in a potentially loud environment, able to lift 20-30 lbs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ontario, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
