The position collaborates closely with senior staff to ensure high‑quality data delivery aligned with project timelines and client expectations.What You’ll Be Doing:Independently perform in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies in a regulated environmentDevelop and implement analytical methods for metabolite profiling and structural elucidationInterpret MS and MS/MS data to determine metabolite structures and metabolic pathwaysAnalyze data, prepare reports, and manage study flow to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverablesInteract with clients on scientific principles, study design, and interpretation of metabolism dataProvide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior and new staffEvaluate and implement new technologies, techniques, and study designs to improve efficiency and qualityWhat We Are Looking For:A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific field is required.In‑depth knowledge of drug metabolism processes including method development, metabolite profiling, and structural determinationStrong expertise with mass spectrometry instrumentation, including MS and MS/MS data collection and interpretationExperience with laboratory troubleshooting, documentation, and application of good laboratory practicesOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and milestones with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionallyProven capability to mentor others, model best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiativesWhat We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $80,200.00 - $167,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
