We achieve this by employing digital knowledge, AI capabilities, and self-service workflows, helping Cisco gather market transitions and scale the business for the future. **Your Impact** As a Business Architect, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing Cisco’s commerce processes, designing, and delivering innovative business models, and driving operational efficiency. You will be the voice of Cisco’s partners, customers, and operations, aligning strategies and solutions to Cisco’s overall business objectives and market trends. This is a high-impact role with access to senior levels across Cisco and significant influence on the company’s recurring revenue and partner strategies. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, lead transformational initiatives, and ensure seamless integration and scale of new offers and solutions. **Strategic Transformation:** + Lead the transformation of software and hardware-focused programs aligned with Cisco’s strategy. + Design, integrate, and scale critical commerce processes that align with Cisco’s SaaS and recurring revenue strategy. + Influence go-to-market (GTM) strategy and offer design to deliver best-in-class partner and customer experiences. **Customer and Partner Advocacy** : + Act as the voice of Cisco’s partners and customers, ensuring their needs are addressed in business and process changes. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, customers, and internal collaborators. **Operational Excellence:** + Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, optimizing workflows, and implementing scalable solutions for people, processes, and tools. + Leverage data-driven insights and AI capabilities to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency. + Specify, influence, and lead tool and process improvements to support ease of doing business at scale. **Metrics, Risk, and Performance:** + Define key performance indicators and metrics to measure the success and value of new offers and process enhancements. + Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with business or operating model changes. **Organizational Change and Execution** : + Develop and implement effective organizational change strategies to support the transition of new offers from incubation to scale. + Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer and partner expectations. **Multi-functional Collaboration:** + Partner with teams across Sales, Channels, Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Experience to ensure successful launch and commercialization of new offers. + Provide guidance and maintain regular interlock with regional teams to align global strategies. **Minimum Qualifications** + 3+ years of relevant experience in global commerce operations, with a focus on sales or partner-facing roles. + 1+ years of experience in business architecture, process improvement, and data analytics. + Domain expertise in software licensing models, SaaS, and recurring revenue strategies. + Solid understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle and Cisco Commerce Workspace. + Experience with Agile IT Project Implementation and Jira. **Preferred Qualifications** + Strong critical and analytical thinking skills to solve complex business challenges and drive decision-making, with the ability to analyze data and recommend actionable insights aligned with Cisco’s objectives. + Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to persuasively engage senior leaders and partners. + Validated leadership in guiding multi-functional teams, fostering teamwork, and delivering successful project outcomes through effective project management and risk mitigation. + Broad knowledge of high-tech industry trends, Cisco’s products and services, channel go-to-market motions, and digital transformation tools such as AI to drive operational improvement. + Demonstrated ability to implement organizational change strategies, drive adoption of innovative solutions, and lead teams through transformational business initiatives. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, or related field. **What We’re Looking For** We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for transforming the business, a deep understanding of commerce operations, and a solid focus on delivering excellent customer and partner experiences. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
