**Job Title: 11am-7:30pm UPS Shuttles** **Job Description** This position involves working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient warehouse operations. The role includes generating manifests for dispatch, confirming customer and stock orders, and interpreting warehouse documents to identify items for movement or distribution. **Responsibilities** + Generate manifests to dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders. + Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. + Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to designated areas. + Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a pre-determined sequence. + Prepare products for distribution within facilities. + Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on palettes, shelves, or conveyors to send to packing stations or shipping departments. + Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products under direct supervision within established guidelines. + Arrange stock parts in a specified sequence for assembly by other workers. + Create and enter records for the manifest on the warehouse computer system. **Essential Skills** + Fluent in English: read/write/speak. + 0 - 6 months of warehouse experience. + Skills in warehouse operations, material handling, picking, packing, shipping, and auditing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No certification required initially. + Will certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire. **Why Work Here?** This role offers opportunities for advancement, long-term career prospects, and benefits upon permanent hire. **Work Environment** The work takes place in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts are used safely. No cellphones or electronics are permitted in the warehouse. The environment is non-climate controlled, and sneakers, boots, or steel-toe footwear are acceptable. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
