Job Title: 10810 - HR Generalist Location: Fountain Valley Job Summary: The HR Generalist provides comprehensive support to the Talent Management team under the Human Resources department with a focus on Immigration, projects related to technology, onboarding, and serving as a backup for the HRIS system. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and supporting various HR initiatives to enhance the employee experience in a fast-paced tech environment. Job Responsibilities: + Immigration Support (30%): + Assist in maintaining the legal status of sponsored employees in immigration matters. + Coordinate with legal counsel and employees to ensure timely submission of immigration documents. + Track visa and work permit expirations and facilitate renewals. + Monitor and manage the I-9 tool and process to ensure compliance with employment eligibility verification requirements. + Prepare immigration and compliance reports. + HRIS Backup (25%): + Maintain the HRIS system for employee full life cycle record maintenance. + Serve as a backup for the senior HRIS associate, ensuring data integrity and timely updates. + Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance and accuracy. + Onboarding (20%): + Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including visitor management, badge processing, facility access, and teamwear distribution. + Conduct orientation sessions and ensure new employees are well-integrated into the company culture. + Continuously improve the onboarding experience based on feedback and best practices. + HR Projects (Technology Focus) (15%): + Lead and support HR projects aimed at integrating new technologies and improving existing HR systems. + Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement HR tech solutions. + Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals. + General HR Support (10%): + Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. + Provide general support to HR Executive Coordinator, such as reports, transcribing Korean business documents and interpreting during meetings. + Administer the car allowance program, ensuring eligible employees receive their allowances accurately and timely. + Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Education & Experience: + A Bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields or equivalent years of experience. + A minimum of 3-5 years of HR-related experience, with at least 1 year focused on immigration and HR technology projects, and training and development preferred. + Prior experience in the IT Service industry or with a technology team, preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual skills in Korean preferred + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. + Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. + Familiarity with tech industry trends and the ability to adapt HR practices to a rapidly changing environment.
