1:1 Paraprofessional / CNA – School Setting Location: Marion, NC School Year: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year (possible extension) Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week Weekly pay through Amergis Position Overview Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a compassionate 1:1 Paraprofessional or CNA to support an elementary student in a school setting for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time role involves providing direct assistance throughout the school day, helping ensure the student’s safety, comfort, and participation in classroom activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and committed to providing individualized support. Key Responsibilities + Provide 1:1 support to a kindergarten student during the school day. + Assist with changing, feeding, mobility, and physical needs. + Support participation in classroom routines and activities. + Collaborate with school staff, including OT and PT teams. + Maintain a patient, supportive, and professional presence at all times. Requirements + Experience working with children or adolescents. + Previous school-based experience highly preferred. + Experience supporting students with physical or developmental needs, including cerebral palsy, preferred. + Reliability, compassion, and the ability to work as part of a school support team.
