Position Overview: 

Provide 1:1 nursing care for a 10th-grade student with a complex medical history. Monitor and manage the student's medically equipment, such as a gastrostomy tube (GT) and central line, ensuring safety and reinforcing GT dressings as needed. Support the student during after-school programs, school breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring), summer school, and field trips to provide consistent care. Partner with the student's support team to implement an individualized care plan, prioritizing the safety and care of the student.

Qualifications: 

Valid CA Registered Nurse (RN) License Ability to adapt to a variable schedule, including school breaks and special events Proficiency in managing and monitoring central lines and gastrostomy tubes Experience in pediatric care, particularly with patients who have complex medical needs (e.g. Short Gut Syndrome, ADHD, febrile seizures)
