Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Stafford, Virginia Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite Security Clearance: Top Secret Job Requirements: + 4+ years of experience as an applications programmer on computer and database management systems 4+ years of experience in software engineering Experience analyzing functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities Experience designing and developing software solutions and utilizing databases to meet design objectives Experience in Java on Linux or Windows operating systems Experience developing web applications using JavaScript Experience with geolocation services, JavaScript development, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB Experience with Microsoft .NET development Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in software engineering Job Requirement Details: + Looking for experience within those 4+ years that revolves around web browser applications' front-end (UI) and back-end (API), with a strong focus in front-end that involves both user interfacing and user effects/design (UI/UX). The stack that they are knowledgeable in should include C# and JavaScript related to front-end web application development. + Database utilization should involve a basic understanding of how non-relational databases, like NoSQL and MongoDB, can be queried/how data can be retrieved without the assistance of a Database Administrator or preset instructions/queries. + Brief insight: The web applications involved with the team are being improved and updated into an environment that makes use of C# .NET development. JavaScript is set as a requirement alongside C# as we are looking for someone to assist in translating between JavaScript and C# while also assisting in further enhancements in C# for those web applications.
