The HR Analytics and Reporting Manager is responsible for streamlining HR reporting processes, delivering actionable insights and enhancing decision-making capabilities. This role is vital in shaping data-driven HR strategies by ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and visualization of workforce data.

Responsibilities

Build a robust foundation for data accessibility, integration, and stakeholder alignment.

Develop, maintain, and optimize HR dashboards and reports using various system platforms.

Drive automation of recurring reports and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain overall HR reporting and analytics environment, organizing and maintaining HR data accurately and efficiently ensuring quality control processes to ensure data accuracy

Conduct in-depth analysis and provide clear, actionable insights and observations to management and internal business partners to support strategic decisions.

Continually enhance existing processes to support scalable reporting solutions focused upon automation, quality control, presentation, and actionable insights.

Oversee HR monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting ensuring accurate, timely and meaningful reporting and analytics

Present results to various levels of leaders and influence business / strategy decisions

Working closely with various internal business units to develop and prepare timely and accurate reporting and analysis 

Communicate complex information so that it is easy to understand and influences others to act based on the useful information provided

Use existing systems/applications (Workday, 3rd party add-on applications, etc.) and determine methods to integrate data from multiple systems to produce reports

Train and support HR team members and stakeholders on accessing and interpreting reports and dashboards.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR analytics, data visualization and data governance including tools and technologies

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related area

Proven experience in HR analytics, reporting, or a similar role.

Prior managerial experience.

Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or related tools including ability to create data visualizations and integrating multiple data sources. 

Proficiency with data query tools such as SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python

Advanced proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint (creating graphics, charts)

Proficiency in Workday HCM report writing beneficial

Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and with highly confidential data

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on translating data into actionable insights

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.

Practical business-oriented approach to problem-solving
