DESCRIPTION OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Purpose
New Asset analyst is responsible for developing creative and analytically rigorous product assessments that drive go / no go Japan investment decisions and maximization in the Japanese market, in conjunction with A&V, DJ, MA global CSI(Commercial Strategy & Innovation), and GAV (Global Access and value) colleagues
Develop reasonably accurate Long-rage revenue/expense forecast for Pfizer pipeline assets and BD projectsDevelop data, insights and recommendations for Strategic Plans that include strategies, tactics, and programs to maximize the long-term potential of development compoundsMain Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include ensuring that information and recommendations are made available in appropriate format to inform and drive business decisions on a particular project, such as:
Deliver consistent high-quality information, insights and recommendations to management and Japan/global colleaguesInvestigate and identify key stakeholders’ (payers, market access customers, healthcare professionals, and patients) needs and reflect these insights into business/access planning processes via leveraging real-world databases and/ or primary research information in the following areas:Epidemiology: Patient dynamics, pathology, genetic background, Diagnosis & treatment guidelinesMarket Environment: Current market size, competitive landscape analysisPhysician/Patient/Payer Insights: Unmet medical needs, Burden of Disease/ QOLWork in close alignment and cooperation with a cross-section of colleagues (global CSI, Global Value and Access, Global Medicine Team, MA, DJ, Therapeutic Area (TA), H&V, P&PA, IP and BAI)Lead market development, in cooperation with A&V, TAs, DJ and other colleagues, essential to maximizing the long-term potential of new productsManage priorities of multiple clients/partnersObtain global alignment and implements the transition of projects to MarketingObtain endorsements from senior management to follow a course of action through presentation of information and recommendationsManage project progress and team’s expense in a timely manner to keep the project on track, and obtain additional resources if necessaryProvide supports with team members and make a KAIZEN to Improve organizational alignment and team performanceSKILL SET

Marketing experience in Pharma and/or other industriesNew product planning & analysis, database/Market analysis, Drug development/Medical affairsExperience of Oncology product early assessment (Hematology Oncology preferable)Key Competencies:
