**Job Description:**
**The Impact You’ll Make in this Role** :
As a Sales Specialist or Account Manager in the electrical construction market, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams such as Marketing, Technical, and Manufacturing to propose 3M products and solutions as valuable offerings to customers, leading business expansion. Here, you can make an impact by:
+ Leading market development to increase sales in the Electrical Market Division by collaborating with team members (Sales, Marketing, Technical, Manufacturing, and global 3M).
+ Communicating 3M products and solutions to customers, such as subcontractors and power utility companies primarily engaged in electrical construction, in collaboration with distribution partners and visualizing the value for customers to capture opportunities.
+ Identifying growth plans through customer/product knowledge, territory analysis, and opportunity assessment with opportunity pipeline management.
**Your Skills and Expertise**
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
+ Three (3) years of sales or marketing experience in the electrical market or industrial field in a private, public, government or military environment.
+ Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
+ Specific Knowledge of Markets and Products in Renewable Energy and Power Transmission and Distribution Industry.
+ Five (5) years of business experience in the electrical market in a private, public, government or military environment
+ Soft skills include abilities such as communication, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork. In project management, these skills are essential for planning, executing, and monitoring projects effectively. In CRM, they are crucial for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
+ Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese with customers.
