Job DescriptionMarket research, tenders, negotiations and contracts for the respective sub-material field/ regional plantsImplementation of material field strategy and supplier managementInternal customer management and early involvement of the Internal customersConducting RfQ process for projects according to signature rules and projects assigned by managerConcluding and managing contracts for assigned suppliersFirst contact window for internal customer, support to solve escalation cases acc. to communication planMentorship for assigned suppliers incl. supplier release, supplier evaluation, supplier eliminating (operational supplier management).Data entry, maintenance and quality control of IT-systems (incl. SRM)Data Consolidation upon request in order to follow up demand management

Practicing purchasing basic principles including quality management.Negotiation skills (also in difficult situations) incl. advanced negotiations methodsExperience with purchasing methods and IT tools for Indirect PurchasingCost analysis within Indirect PurchasingExperience with machinery and equipment as a buyer or planner / designer/engineering preferredSupply Chain Optimization (material field strategy, purchasing processes, supplier development).Contract law and legal requirements, complianceProject management and moderation skills
