Job Summary
Operational Excellence Manager reports to OE・PMO Lead. This role executes Operational Excellence (OE) strategy, OE program, OE projects, and OE procedures for Saitama Factory. This role especially focuses on delivering specific process improvements and cost saving to meets the annual target.


Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities  
-    Lead the specific OE (Operational Excellence) activities include projects of all function of Saitama site.
-    Achieve the annual target of OE activity.  Achieve the saving target too
-    Efficiency improvements of Production and QC area are the key responsibility of this role.
-    Train the people in the OE related technics through the execution of OE activities or projects
-    Lead key OE projects as a project leader.
-    Manage and maintain the KPI reporting web system based on OE.PMO Lead

 

Education Level  :  Bachelor's Degree
Other Qualifications  :  Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
Experience  :  At least 5years experience in Lean Six Sigma or such efficiency improvement area in Factory. Or equivalent capability. Experience in Global pharmaceutical company is preferable.

 

Competencies   
-    Professional skills and knowledge in Lean Six Sigma. Black Belt Level is preferable.
-    Operational skill of project management 
-    Operational skills to manage & lead people and teams. 
-    Strong Leadership to coach, motivate and energize people.
-    Have a strong Passion for achievements.
-    Have an established unique leadership (Authentic Leadership) style to lead the team to achieve goals.
-    Strong growth mindset to develop herself / himself and the team.
-    Strong communication skill, which is enough efficient for stakeholder management.
-    Strong problem-solving skill
-    Operational knowledge of GMP and relevant laws, especially for the process development and engineering area.
-    Have a basic knowledge of production equipment, process, and factory operation.
