Job Responsibilities:
1. Product Development :
Development of Lenovo’s cloud-native platform, including container orchestration, DevOps toolchains, and microservices infrastructure.
Design and implement platform capabilities that support enterprise-grade scalability, availability, and agility.
Drive platform evolution with open-source innovation and cloud-native best practices.
2. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with global development teams across Malaysia, Singapore, and other regions to ensure consistent implementation and delivery.
Define reusable architectural patterns, common libraries, and standardized CI/CD pipelines.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance across development teams.
3. Customer & Business Support:
Collaborate with product and solution teams to understand customer requirements and deliver adaptable platform solutions.
Support cloud-native transformation initiatives for enterprise clients and internal cloud products.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with significant focus on cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.
- Proficient in Java and Go, with strong experience in Spring and Spring Cloud frameworks.
- Familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Git, and modern CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and Scrum-based agile methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and the surrounding cloud-native ecosystem (e.g., Helm, Prometheus, Istio).
- Hands-on experience developing and operating Kubernetes Operators.
- Familiar with microservices architecture, API gateways, service mesh, and distributed system design.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining PaaS platforms, with strong focus on reliability, security, and developer experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams.
