Assist in market research, data collection and analysis of performance.Monitoring of news sources to find and save articles on travel trendsResearch local government websites to obtain updates on projects, events, travel, subsidy, employment status.Travel to the properties across Japan as needed to inspect the facilities, meet with the management team(s) and tour the market areas and competitive set of hotels.Key DimensionsKey Internal Relationship(s)Reports to the Assigned Manager on daily issues/queries, identified risks or concerns or if requiring assistance.Acts as the Key Liaison with VAST to establish and track work progressShare knowledge and contributes to continual improvement of the Asset Management team.Key External Relationship(s)Meet with owners and hotel executive teams to review monthly and quarterly operating performance, annual business plans/budgets, including capital budgets and longer-term strategic plans to provide cost reduction and revenue enhancement guidance.Financial DelegationThe position has no set financial delegation.
