【Conrad Osaka /Canopy Umeda】Cluster Assistant Director of Sales /Senior Sales Manager International Market

A Cluster Assistant Director of Sales with the Conrad Osaka and Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda will report directly to the Cluster Director of Sales and work closely with the revenue team to ensure that the leisure transient sales strategy as well as the group sales activities are in line with the property's business needs. Although this position will predominantly focus on luxury transient business, the scope also extends to MICE and other group leads for the international market for both hotels.
The ideal candidate will be based in market and have a solid network of consortia accounts with 3+ years’ experience in leisure sales.  Luxury experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel required.

What will I be doing?

Cluster Assistant Director of Sales with the Conrad Osaka and Canopy by Hilton Osaka Umeda is responsible for generating new luxury Consortia, and Tour/Wholesale accounts in addition seeking and confirming opportunities for MICE and other group related leads in order to maximize transient and group revenue, profits and market share.

·         Develop and solicit new Consortia accounts with a focus on Hilton for Luxury, American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, American                         Express The Hotel Collection, Virtuoso, Signature
·         Monitor implementation of packages and offers with operational departments and deploy to luxury partnerships (FH&R, THC, Virtuoso,             Signature)
·         Develop FIT, Wholesale, Local and Corporate negotiated accounts
·         Support and promote leisure packages, offers and promotions in conjunction with the Revenue Management and Marketing Teams
·         Set and negotiate rates for special corporate/preferred and local volume negotiated accounts, with direction from Commercial Director             and Director of Sales
·         Conduct research on key account room night/revenue performance at competitive-set
·         Grow relationships with current accounts
·         Plan sales trips, under the direct approval of the Director of Sales to major market areas, calling on accounts within the specific market             areas. 
·         Host and direct on-property Travel Partner FAM Trips, Site Inspections and Educational Tours
·         Plan and execute sales calls, presentations and client entertainment with retail travel agents, luxury travel managers, and other                           intermediaries
·         Assist the Director of Sales in the forecasting of rooms’ revenue and ATR for Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. / LSG (Long Staying Guests)                       groups. 
·         Attend major travel functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promotes sales (rooms, catering, and other facilities and                 services) for the hotel. 
·         Consistently present a polished, professional image of the two hotels
·         Effectively cross-sell Hotel outlets and revenue centers (i.e., spa, dining and activities)
·         International and Domestic Travel required based on the marketing plan focusing on retail travel agencies, consortia and wholesale                   accounts
·         Will be self-motivated, team-oriented, ambitious and driven for sales success
·         Execute additional projects and duties as assigned by the property
