Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic IT Application Support to join our team in building modern web-based applications and services. As part of a dynamic environment within Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), you will work on both frontend and backend components, collaborate with researchers and product teams, and contribute to impactful digital platforms..

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.

Design and build user interfaces with React.js and modern frontend tools (e.g., Redux, Tailwind, Material UI).

Work with RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and research requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through testing and code reviews.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems.

Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

Graduated from Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), or its member universities is a strong advantage.

2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development.

Proficiency in Python (especially with Django or Flask).

Strong knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Good understanding of software development best practices (testing, clean code, scalability).

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
