Our key accountabilities include governance and maintenance of the Data Operations Framework; delivering a regulated and compliant data environment; using intelligent automation, workflow, process improvements, cross-segment expertise, and third-party suppliers to improve quality, timeliness, cost, and effort across Supply Chain; applying deep end-to-end knowledge and subject matter expertise to define, shape and implement supply chain strategies; and cultivating talent as a distinctive capability. This position will supervise and execute day-to-day operations to support the strategy of the function across franchises/business units. Will lead mid-sized projects. Will use creativity and innovation to develop solutions to complex problems, while ensuring solutions are consistent with the organization's objectives. **Major Duties & Responsibilities:** Monitor and control the data operations and data quality process. May include coordination of testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Engage with partners on tactical matters. Provide appropriate guidance on data operations topics. May include completion of sophisticated change assessments and/or project prioritization requirements, serve as point of escalation for both internal and external team members, strategic launches and audit/compliance activities. Lead operational meetings with data owners. Facilitate continuous improvement of existing data design, process and templates by tactically focusing on business outcomes: + Implement and monitor tools and processes that improve execution. + Own documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents. Develop and deliver training to educate partners on detailed procedures, data flows, etc. + Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department. + Participate in, and sometimes lead, operational and governance meetings including end-to-end, value capture, and third-party reviews. + Support the deployment of the Data Management Framework. May include people leadership responsibilities including lead, develop, and retain talent through coaching, and engagement. Provide mentorship, direction, development planning, and performance feedback in accordance with J&J Career Management processes. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. + 6+ years of related experience **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + A minimum of 3 years of data management experience in the context of large ERP platforms. + SAP MM (Material Management + A relevant mix of global, regional, cross-sector/industry experience. + MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) + Strong written, oral, and presentation skills. + Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. + Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes. + Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within timelines, in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly. + Conflict resolution and negotiation skills. + Ability to lead and influence teams. + This position may require 0-5% of domestic and international (US) travel. **Preferred Experience:** + SAP and/or JDE + Winshuttle + Data Quality + Management of third-party suppliers. **Key Working Relationships:** + Internal: Data Operations team, Segment Leaders + External: Third party suppliers of operational and/or project functions. ・If you are Japan employee, please read “Internal Application Guideline” in Ask GS.
