Director of Food Beverage

The Director of Food Beverage is responsible for the strategic leadership and overall performance of all Food Beverage operations at Park Hyatt Busan. The role oversees all hotel Food Beverage operations, a significant outside catering business, and the management of luxury branded restaurant operations on behalf of our business partners.

As a member of the Leadership Committee, this position partners closely with the General Manager to deliver Hyatt's purpose, "We care for people so they can be their best," while driving commercial performance, operational excellence, luxury service standards, and talent development.

This position requires a commercially driven, strategic, and highly influential leader who can balance operational excellence, financial performance, luxury service delivery, and stakeholder relationship management while leading a diverse Food Beverage team.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall Food Beverage operation, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent luxury service standards.Drive the commercial performance, revenue growth, and profitability of all Food Beverage operations, with particular focus on expanding the outside catering business.Oversee the successful operation of luxury branded restaurant operations, ensuring full compliance with brand standards, service excellence, and contractual obligations.Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and key stakeholders through excellent communication, collaboration, and professional credibility.Develop business plans, budgets, forecasts, and commercial strategies with strong financial acumen and a focus on sustainable growth.Analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and implement initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, guest satisfaction, and return on investment.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Food Beverage leadership team through inspirational leadership, effective communication, succession planning, and people development.Foster a culture of service excellence, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the division.Ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, regulatory compliance, and operational discipline.Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to achieve overall business objectives and deliver seamless luxury guest experiences.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Director of Food Beverage or in a comparable senior Food Beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel.Proven commercial mindset and strong financial acumen, with a track record of delivering sustainable business growth.Demonstrated experience managing multiple Food Beverage outlets, outside catering operations, luxury branded restaurant operations, and diverse stakeholder relationships.Outstanding communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence both local teams and external business partners.A leader who demonstrates executive presence, strategic thinking, sound business judgment, emotional intelligence, adaptability, integrity, and a hands-on leadership style.Passion for luxury hospitality, innovation, guest experience, and continuous improvement.Previous Hyatt Hotels experience is preferred.Fluent English is essential.
