Organization of accounting operations:

Organizing works in accordance with the conditions of business organization and organizational structure of the Company.Propose Best Practice Models applied in organizing and handling accounting work.Propose improvements to financial accounting processes and procedures.Updating new accounting standards/principles, tax regulation, Group standards applied to company operations.

 

Supervising accounting works:

Oversee the creation of accounting vouchers, the handling and accounting of accounting activities, the recording of accounting transactions in accounting books, and the keeping and preservation of accounting vouchers and records.Ensure the effectiveness, timeliness, and confidentiality of management information as well as the quality of accounting and statistical activities.

 

Manage and oversee the work of accounting staff (including staff from SCC) to ensure that the department's objectives, duties, and responsibilities are met:

Overseeing and organizing the everyday activities of the accounting team.Developing the expertise of the accounting team.On routine or sporadic request, provide the Chief Finance Officer with a report on the functioning of Accounting Department.

 

Coordinating the creation and evaluation of several report types:

Ensure that accounting and statistics reports are properly configured and sent on schedule.Quarterly and annual financial statements prepared in accordance with Vietnamese accounting standards and the insurance accounting regime.Tax report (monthly, quarterly, or annual).Insurance industry report (monthly, quarterly, annual).Annual statistical updates.Submit periodic (monthly, quarterly, yearly) reports to the State Bank and the National Financial Supervision Commission.Report on the month, half-year, or year-to-date progress of the project.At the request of the company director, prepare monthly internal financial reports.Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US-GAAP.Hold chief accountant certification issued by MoF, LOMA.Economics Bachelor with a focus in Accounting, Audit, or Finance. Preferred qualifications include ACCA/CPA certification, insurance industry expertise.Ten years or more of experience in a comparable role. Prefer experiences in insurance industry with knowledge in US-GAAP/IFRS.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel, and accounting system.Has a strong command of office software and is quick to pick up accounting and insurance contract management programs.Fluency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), the ability to solve problems, and effective communication.Ability to manage team size of 10+
