Job DescriptionAssist in designing and training machine learning models across multiple domains (tabular data, computer vision, NLP/LLM).Support the development of AI-powered document understanding and information extraction systems.Contribute to chatbot development and automation workflows for R&D and production use cases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features into larger software systems.Learn and apply MLOps practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining models.Evaluate models using relevant metrics and suggest improvements.Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to team deliverables using Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

Education & Background

Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Technical Skills (Preferred)Strong programming skills in Python.Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, OpenCV, Hugging Face, etc.Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts, optimization, and evaluation metrics.Understanding of APIs and exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Hands-on experience with Git for version control.Familiarity with containerization and deployment platforms such as OpenShift.Knowledge of agile practices and CI/CD is an advantage.

We are seeking an enthusiastic AI Engineer Intern to join our Automotive R&D Center. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge machine learning technologies — from classical ML on tabular data to image processing, computer vision, and large language models (LLMs). You will help build intelligent systems that can automatically extract information from documents (PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and the internet, develop chatbot solutions, and contribute to automating testing processes in production. This role provides exposure to real-world applications of AI within the automotive industry while working closely with product owners, software developers, and data engineers in an agile environment using Azure DevOps.
