Key responsibilities of position (Job Description)
Execute services onboard for a key product line.
Follow safety procedures and report safety issues and ensure safe working behavior.
Show sufficient product knowledge of a key product line.
Prepare the service job for efficient execution, based on the SOP of the job.
Travel to service jobs on board vessels, including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed.
Execute maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, commissioning, or other services.
Train customers on product and operation of equipment.
Perform audit and condition monitoring service.
Proactive recommendation to customer for timely purchase of spares.
Communicate well with customers in English.
Document work and conclusions while on board and get service report signed by the customer.
Give advice to customer and pass information on to own organization.
Requirements / Qualification
Preferred minimum 2-3 years’ experience in field service engineer.
Junior college degree or equivalent.
Intermediate communication in English
Has an Outgoing, Sociability, Responsibility personalities
