Job Summary Job Summary

This is a regular, full-time, exempt position that reports to the Director of Education. As a Mental Health Therapist, you are committed to upholding AchieveKids’ values and beliefs to help students achieve the maximum possible self-reliance and quality of life. You strive to meet the needs of complex learners by providing students, classroom groups, and families with positive energy and a strength-based approach. You collaborate with other members of the Clinical Services team and school staff to support students in finding success within their communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct clinical services including individual, group and family therapy sessions, psycho-social assessment, and goal planning/tracking. Provide direct support and consultation services to clients and staff members and other professionals. Deliver training and education to other team members and clients on assigned topics within scope of practice. Facilitate open communication, the team process within the Agency, and a positive attitude toward program function and general Agency goals. Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team that includes Special Education Teachers, Behavior Specialists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Program Counselors in a classroom milieu.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in a relevant field, with valid CA clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW). Associate level license is also eligible to apply. Experience supporting youth with severe behavioral, developmental, and emotional difficulties CA Driver's License and Auto Insurance as this position may drive as an essential function Clean California DMV record required Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen Ability to pass DOJ fingerprint background check TB Clearance

Comments and Other Information PAY RANGE The pay range for this position is $6,309.33 - $7,74.31 per month ($75,712 to $92,968 annually). The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, internal equity, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This range represents base salary only and one aspect of the total rewards package. Specifics about the rewards package for this position may be discussed during the hiring process.
